Benchwarmers Pub and Grill in La Grande

Benchwarmers is a great local place to meet up. They also do catering and the stall and shrimp were perfect. Very courteous staff work as decent selection of food and drink. They offer some happy hour discounts. For me a it's all about the loaded chicken nachos. We like to start here before catching a movie just a short walk away.

Great atmosphere!We moved to an open table, the waitress cleared off the table but did not wipe it down.It was sticky and gross.I finally asked her if she could give me a rag to clean it up and she did.... didn't bother to clean it up herself...?Still tipped well, it's the way I am!

There are always great beer choices here. The food is severely disappointing though. I've given multiple chances for the food and always leave regretting it.

The price was to high for the quality of the food. My salad had old white lettuce, the soup tasted like it was canned and had been out to long. The hamburger was a frozen patty and tasted like it.

This place is great. Like a local bar you see in movies. No one here is trying to be something they aren't. Great food. Big screens. Vast beer selection. Cool antique wooden bar with giant mirror and carvings. Make this a stop when in town.
